Apple Remote (silver) Context Menu

I’ve configured the apple remote (silver) to work with the raspberry pi 2.

I’ve used the default conf file (I’ve found on Remotes menu in MyOSMC configuration):

Everything work fine!

But… I cannot configure the apple remote in order to access to the “Context Menu
Is there any way in order to add some new keymap (long press, hold press, double clic, etc.)

Into the conf file I’ve found only 7 Keymap:
KEY_UP 0x50
KEY_DOWN 0x30
KEY_LEFT 0x90
KEY_RIGHT 0x60
KEY_OK 0x3A 0xA0
KEY_MENU 0xC0
KEY_PLAY 0xFA 0xA0

Is there any way to add others Keymap:
something like:

Thank You

At the moment there is no way to configure a long press or double click to perform a different action so yes, it does make the Apple remote barely usable, with no way to really use the context menu, as the menu button ends up needing to be used as a back button.

In the next major release of Kodi (Jarvis) I believe native support is being added for “long press” which would make it possible to do what you are asking, however Jarvis is a few months away yet.

Unfortunately the Apple remotes (especially the original white ones) just don’t have enough buttons to be a fully usable Kodi remote without long press support.
