Arakasi/rtinst rtorrent/rutorrent/nginx install

I am waiting for a new 4K+ to arrive.

I am giving half a thought to installing my torrent client on it. Yes just considering pros and cons.

The only reliable and functional client I have experience with is using the arakasi/rtinst script on a Raspbian RPi. Over the years it’s the only setup that works without glitches reliably.

What would happen if I tried running it on the Vero 4K+ ?

Thank you

No idea — it will likely work if the script is platform agnostic

It has been tested on:

Ubuntu 12 (unsupported)
Ubuntu 13 (unsupported)
Ubuntu 14
Ubuntu 15
Ubuntu 16
Ubuntu 17
Ubuntu 18
Debian 7 "Wheezy" (unsupported)
Debian 8 "Jessie"
Debian 9 "Stretch"

and it would install

1. vsftpd - ftp server
2. libtorrent/rtorrent
3. rutorrent
4. Nginx (webserver)
5. autodl-irssi

Maybe I’ll just forgo

Thank you Sam

Should work — how well, I don’t know.

Thank you Sam.
