ARC issue TV LG OLED C8 with VERO 4K


After the last update I got problems with ARC. When the VERO is plugged in my build-in tv apps have no sound. It works if I disconnect the hdmi cable from the VERO.

I also have the same problem. Have to reset my soundbar each time to recover the sound (vero 4k+ → Samsung hw90qr soundbar → LG oled55b8).
Edit : if I unplug vero, I don’t need to reset the soundbar.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
