Hi. I’ve created some .ass subtitles within an mkv file so subs can be positioned top/centre of screen with a custom font (Gabriola). Works well on windows kodi, but the font does not translate when playing on vero. I haven’t added any new fonts to either kodi instance as yet- I’m looking into that, but given that windows kodi plays this with no problem, I’m not sure I need to. Any ideas? Thanks.
Maybe one for another time. I managed to convert the .aas subtitles to idx/sub and they’re working perfectly with custom positioning and font now.
There is even no need to create .ass subtitles when you already can adjust position of srt subtitles. When you play the video you go on settings, click till you got the subtitle position screen and then set it to the position you want.
