atv-mediacenter *.* packages gone after stretch update

Hello OSMC community!

Currently I’m on VERSION_ID=“2017.10-1”, but tried to do a system update from the command line using: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

My /etc/apt/sources.list file currently has:

> deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian jessie main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ jessie-updates main contrib non-free

deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main contrib non-free

deb http://apt.osmc.tv jessie main

Currently my atv1 system only boots, but it get’s stuck at the OSMC logo. I can access it via SSH, but from there I’m not sure what to do to bring it back to life.

I would like to avoid installing it from scratch, as I have a lot of media content in it…

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There was no Debian Stretch release for Apple TV and we removed the updated from My OSMC to prevent people from upgrading.

You will need to reinstall unfortunately
