Hi guys.

I was wondering, are there any addons that would allow for audio improvement, specifically voice clarity?

I’m looking for an addon that could work similarly for my OSMC installation as the old DFX Audio Enhancer, these days called FX Sound Enhancer, did for Windows.
Got a 4k TV recently, but built-in sound in the TV is less than stellar, and hiking up the audio levels to be able to hear voices more clearly, only to be bombarded with sound in other scenes just isn’t fun.

Whats the make of the TV? May have a mode that boots the voice channel, sometimes referred to as nightmode.

We have an option to boost the centre channel on downmix

It’s a Hisense Q8600. I think the American Model# is H9F
I’ll have a look and see if there’s an option and if it helps.
Otherwise I guess I’ll just get a soundbar.

Hi,

Struggling to find a manual for your specific model, but if its like others. It will have 2 sound modes worth trying Speech and Late Night.

I never even tried that before(The audio modes available - Speech & Late Night). Guess I didn’t have much faith in TV speakers to begin with. To my surprise they do make a significant difference though.
