Audio HD not in Rasperry Pi 2?

Hi, i have reade the difference between Vero and Raspberry Pi and i have seen that Raspberry doesn’t have support for HD Audio, will not have even the Raspberry Pi 2? If yes it’s for a limit of the hardware?

Like someone else answered recently in another thread:

The VideoCore part of Pi 2 is the same and that contains the HDMI hardware. So I'm afraid no DTS-MA/TrueHD passthrough. However the increased performance means software decode of TrueHD is not a problem, and we can output 8 channel PCM, so 8 channel audio is supported.
