Hi,
recently I get crazy audio noises instead of the video audio if I try to start a video file. It does not happen all of the time so it is not easy to replicate. If I stop the video and start again it works fine. This started when I disabled frame rate adjustments before starting a video because I did not like the 2-3 seconds of black while the video already started.
Can this really be the cause and if yes is there something else I can do?
I would prefer not to go back to the black picture at the beginning of videos.
hm it seems to happen the first time after restarting kodi most of the time. Does somebody have an idea what to do about it?
To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the
Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or thessh
method invoking commandgrab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.
