Loving OSMC on my new RP2. Thanks to the team for their great work.
I’m using the analogue (3.5 jack) output for both my music and videos. What I find is the music tends to be very loud, television medium and movies very quiet. I understand this isn’t the fault of OSMC/Kodi but just the nature of different media having different sources and characteristics. I’ve tried my best to normalize things by using a low PreAmp level for music and the boost center channel option for videos. It helps but it’s not perfect. I especially dislike this for the music since the lower the preamp, the more hissing can be heard.
Since OSMC has a lot of Debian packages available, is there something I could install that could help normalize the audio more? Something agnostic to the source of the media like this tool for Windows?
