Best calibration/resolution/refresh rate settings?

I have issues with this as well.

I have an LG C5.

Set my Vero V GUI at 1080p 59..hz.

Adjust refresh rate at start/stop (delay of 3sec).

But why video at 1080p 23.98hz does not switch framerate and plays at the gui hz (60hz as per TV info).

Playing a 4k at 23.98hz (24p) will switch.

To fix this I had to enable only the 24p modes on the whitelist. BUT there is no 1080p 24hz/23.98hz whitelist option.

Now when I play 1080p 24p content, it switches to 4k 24p mode.

Why is there no 1080p 24hz option in whitelist?

The whitelist is populated with the display modes your display (or possibly AVR or video switch depending on hardware) are reported as supporting.

I’m guessing because Vero thinks your TV doesn’t support it. If you post logs we could check what’s happening.

The Vero V is connected to a Samsung hw-q990b. It might be why.
I get the same options on Kodi on my Shield Pro.
