Black screen for 10s after playback is started

I didn’t change anything on OSMC after the update except refresh rate from 30p to 60p.

There aren’t really that many options.
(you probably didn’t find what I mentioned in the manual, because I have the menu in German and just translated it myself)

Well I doubt that all these are default settings.

So you must have done overscan settings before.

Take a picture maybe we can help

Correct, but they’re the same settings as I had them before the update, where everything was running smooth.

What are the option under Picture Size and “Zoom and Position”?

Well I am not trying to fix your black screen issue, I am focussing on your overscan topic.

No options, it’s disabled :\

And what are the options under Picture Size which currently is 16:9 Standard?
Also seems you reactivated fit to screen with Auto

I only have those options under “Picture Size”:

Yes, I’ve been playing around with the “Fit to screen settings”, but none of them make a difference to my issue. (FWIW, it’s back to “Off” now).

What is if chosen Custom? Can you then disable all the other options?
I haven’t seen much reports from Samsung on the Forum but maybe someone else has a Samsung TV and can comment.

Again, set it to 16:9 standard and fit to screen to ON. I have 2 samsung tvs with veros and this works for me. The setting used to be called to just fit bit was changed in a firmware update recently

Those are the options within “Zoom and position” after selecting “Custom” in the “Picture Size” setting:

Ok, that is exactly what we don’t want. So I think best to follow what @modul8 wrote (as he also owns a Samsung TV) and reset all the overscanning you had configured in Kodi.

Sorry for coming back so late. This really did it for the overscan issue, it looks fine now.

I’ll come back with more info on which files are affected by the 10s-black-screen issue.
