Blue front LED flickering

Hi,

I recently noticed that the blue front LED of my Verok 4K isn’t constantly lit anymore (as it used to be) when the Vero 4K is on, but it is mostly off and just flickers from time to time.

I’m running OSMC 2017.12-1 and haven’t done any modifications to the OS.
But I have turned off and on the Vero 4K a few times every few weeks and also sometimes pulled the power plug after Vero 4K was shut down.

Does the behavior described above rather originate from hardware or from software?

Either the power supply is not providing enough power (anything attached to USB), or the LED is faulty
