I am trying to get my sony bluetooth headphones to work with my vero+.
I have paired them on the osmc network page, or at least it says paired and the icon has turned blue, but there is no sound. I have gone to the system, audio page but there are only two audio output devices listed "default( aml-m8audio; hdmi, s/pdif & analogue) or aml-m8audio; hdmi. Neither works.
I read in another post to install sudo apt install a2dp-app-osmc but I get “unable to locate” error.
How can I get them to work?
Try this [How-to] set up Bluetooth audio
Some self-assembly required.
I am having this same problem 5 years later with the latest OSMC version, so I suppose it should work, but Settings / System / Audio / Audio output device doesn’t show my bluetooth device, and I don’t see any “Keep audio device alive” option there either. Suggestions?
Actually now that I selected “Expert” in the Settings, I can see the “Keep audio device alive” and it is off as it should be. OSMC says I’m paired with the headphones just fine. So why don’t I see anything but “Default” and “AML-AUGESOUND, HDMI” under Audio output device?
Is it paired?
What device are you using?
Old thread, so we need a bit more information.

Well, I’m using JBL Live 770 NC headphones, but as far as Vero V is concerned I think it’s just a “bluetooth” (5.2, I believe) device, so why should that matter?
BTW: Logging in to the Vero V via ssh and typing “date” shows the correct time, so I guess the problem is that Kodi isn’t listening to the system its running on for some reason. But there’s nothing about time zones in Kodi’s Settings that I can see …
Sorry, ignore that last reply (I can’t keep track of all my threads!).
