Can I setup on wifi and use on LAN and vice versa

I setup my own system using OSMC over LAN and now my brother wants me to setup his new RPi3 at my house so he can take it home and use over the built in RPi3 wifi.

So, when installing OSMC should I select WLAN or LAN? If he provides his SSID and password can he or I enter those details at the start?

Should I set it all up via LAN and he can enter OSMC once at his home and enter his wifi info, what’s the best way of doing this?

Install it using LAN.
Then your brother can just connect it to the wifi at home with the GUI

That’s the answer I was hoping for. I expect his arrival in 2 hours with boxes of goodies to sort out :slight_smile:
