Can not save TV shows, folder permissions?

Hello, i need to re-register again, but i am a old user of OSMC, the first with a Rasp1B, Rasp2, and now Raspberry 3

I view TV with addon MovistarTV, it have a client DVR and a server DVR and i have one problem when i want to save a tv program in my external HDD 1Tb, they create a folder with name of tv program, and a new file with name of tv program but 0 bytes written, i give 777 permission folder recursive to TV folder and new files and folders create with osmc user and 777 permission but i can not save tv program because the file not write more 0 bytes ¿???

Any idea about this ???

The addon movistar is because i not have dvb-t tuner and view channels of my cable tv, i can view, but i can not save :frowning:

You shouldn’t have needed to re-register again. See Your new OSMC account

It doesn’t sound like a permissions problem, though I guess it’s possible that a different process (and user) creates and later tries to write to the file.

If you can supply full debug logs, that would be a good first step.

We need full debug logs:

  • activate logging
  • reboot the OSMC device
  • reproduce the issue
  • upload the log set either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A
  • provide the URL of the logs
