Can OSMC be installed on other boxes?

I’ve just discovered the OSMC Vero 4k box , and I can’t help but see the hardware similarities between that box and other S905X android TV boxes.
Is it possible to install OSMC onto the other boses and unlock their potential to output 4K etc like the Vero 4K box does

OSMC only supports, raspberry pi devices, Vero devices and appletv gen1. X86 support is being worked on…

S905X android TV boxes are not supported.

No – we don’t have any plans to do thIs currently. The problem is that there are too many S905x devices out there, so we couldn’t guarantee the same level of quality we can with Vero 4K on other devices.

Better to just get the genuine article.
