I’ve got a Philips “streamium” which can play MP3 files shared from OSMC via UPnP. The Streamium doesn’t know how to play FLAC files and I can’t find any information on configuring OMSC to transcode.
Is there a audio transcoding option within OSM? Maybe I should pose the question on a Kodi forum- there might be a suitable add-on. Not that I could find one when googling.
I could disable the Kodi UPnP and install some other UPnP server instead. MediaTomb seems to have some kind of audio transcoding features - anyone tried this?
