It’s one of the options in MyOSMC, right next to the Updates section.
I don’t understand what I need to do here. I’ve decided to reinstall the whole lot and see if it works. Thanks
You will need to update your system even after a fresh RC3 install
Sam
Ok, will still do that. Just downloaded RC3 and put it on my SD card. Thanks….fingers crossed
Reinstalled it using RC3. Ran all updates. Still doesn’t see any usb or hdd drives attached to it. Samba shares on mac osx finder just shows movies, music, pictures and tv shows folders which i believe are on the sd card only. I ran the log uploader. Where do i get the information from now? It says copied to sd card do i need to take it out and put it in my mac?
We need the URL that the log uploader provides.

It’s ok now?!?!!?!?
I can see an attached usb drive…….
Woop woop woop.
How did that work? Voodoo i think.
Thanks again everyone.
This is a simple issue, your IP changed so your connecting device is noticing and warning you in case it was un-expected.
I can see an issue in your logs that will be causing the drive to intermittently fail to show up on boot, basically your Pi 1 is taking a long time for samba to start up and if samba has not started up within 30 seconds the share doesn’t get added.
I’m working on a fix to make this more reliable. Watch this space…
I’m doing my best to learn and follow what you guys are telling me but i’ll admit a lot is going over my head
But a big thanks to you all for helping and pointing things out. I do love osmc and kodi on my pi, especially now i can add content to my hdd without unplugging it etc. Cheers ActionA, DBMandrake and Sam_nazarko!
Enjoy!
I’ve pushed out an update to diskmount-osmc and smb-app-osmc that should solve the problem of automount shares sometimes not being added during boot on a slow device - please run updates and let us know how it goes.
Hello again, This is working ace now. Thanks again.
