I have managed to find and enable the log (had to update osmc ) and is available in the below link :

I have tried to play the file and as usual, it got stuck and had to restart before uploading the log. Hope this helps.
Ok, first suggestion put back gpu_mem to the default values. Only giving 64M may lead to problems

Just set everything on default (256) and it is now working like a charm ! No issues with the UI as well.
