Cant rewind/ fastforward after august update vero 4k +

I watch movies on ntfs harddrives directly connected to usb port on vero 4k +. But since the august update ( I think it was) I cant rewind/ fastforward on any file. When I rewind/ fastforward and come to the place where I want to watch, it doesnt stop there. Instead it starts all over from the beginning of the file/ movie. This is very frustrating. Is it any way to make it work again?
My vero 4k+ used to work ok, but after august update it feels useless.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
