I can’t seem to update my Vero. The problem is in running “apt-get update”:
Err:5 http://ftp.fau.de/osmc/osmc/download/dev/gmc-18 gmc-18 InRelease
The following signatures were invalid: EXPKEYSIG 326674E68C015D46 Greg McCarthy <firstname.lastname@example.org>
What can I do to fix this?
Remove the gmc-18 line from your sources file.
Yeah, should’ve been able to figure that out myself
Out of curiosity: why’s that line there and why is it now deprocated?
Because you put it there in order to install a testing version of Kodi v18, likely >1 year ago? v18 has been the default version for some time now, so this is quite old. OSMC will/can never install testing versions unsolicited. There will always be manual operations by the user required to install such builds.
Oh, that’s exactly what I’ve done. It’s just been so long I’ve forgotten adding that line. Never figured that line could start causing problems down the line. So all is as it should be and I thank you again for the swift reply.
