So I recently upgraded from a RPI B running RaspBMC, to a RPI2 running OSMC, and now a lot of the avi(Xvid) playback is choppy, it wasnt choppy on my RPI B running RaspBMC.

Can you provide a sample file that has the problem?

legally I can not. I will do some digging and see if I can find a small sample file that does this.

Media snippet used for troubleshooting of hardware is covered under “fair use”. Just create a small ~100mb sample that exhibits the issue.
