Corrupt SD card from power hit

My system would not come up after a power hit. I was able to read all the files off of the SD card onto my PC. I reformatted the SD card and re-installed the latest OMSC version. The system now boots up. Rather than spending a lot of time and effort to re-install preferences and shares, etc. Can I try and copy them from the files on my PC? If so, what files do I need to copy over? Thanks in advance. Tony

You should be able to copy your home directory (/home/osmc/) without issues. That should give you back shares you made in kodi. For other things, it gets more complicated and depends on what you want to restore.

Thanks for the reply. Directory listing is below. Which directories are you referring to?

From a windows pc you can only read the root partition with a third party software like this free one: Access to Ext 2/3/4, HFS and ReiserFS from Windows | DiskInternals

Then you can access your /home/osmc folder

I suspect you have not backed up the root (linux) partition if you just copied those files in windows. If so, you have lost all your stuff.
