Sometime recently, I believe after my last OSMC update, my TV show lists became corrupted. I have two sources, each points to a Windows share on different machines. When I try to refresh I get an error message to that a scrapper error has occured and I should check the log file. But I’m not sure where to find the log file. after that message the system seems to be looking up the shows but nothing changes. My similarly setup “Movies” sources continue to work just fine and do my audio sources. The problem is only for TV shows. Another observation, I don’t know if it is related, is that when I select MyOSMC, I get an error message “service not available, try later”. That doesn’t go away. Any guidence would be appreciated. I am admittedly a novice at this. Thank you.
To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.
Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
-
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
-
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
-
reproduce the issue
-
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the
Log Uploader
method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or thessh
method invoking commandgrab-logs -A
-
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here
Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

Thank you. As usual, I confirmed I was still having the problem, cleaned the library twice, checked for updates (there were none), rebooted twice. And the problem went away. Thank you for your offer to help. I’ll reach out again if necessary. Happy New Year.
