Cron or eg. to grab epg data

Hi,

my Pi is running about 24/7 and the epg data wont be updated until i restart it. Is there a way to get this done by a cronjob or something else?

Yes,

Probably – but ‘epg’ doesn’t help us much. What application are you using?

Remember to install cron via App Store.

i mean the electronic program guide for television. The information about which channel is showing what on which time :wink:

If you are using a PVR Clients it should automatically be populated. There may be a setting to set the frequency it updates at too
