Bit confused.
If osmc can’t be installed on a standard OS/PC, why is there a link to the install download on the downloads page, allowing me to download versions for several different linux os’ which installs the installer, which then can’t install the applications??

OSMC does not run on x86 architecture. Yet.
The different download versions are for the installer only, not the OSMC system.So you can install OSMC from a Mac, Windows PC, Linux PC, etc, but only to a Raspberry Pi, Vero or Apple TV1.
