Does Vero V support Dolby Atmos TrueHD and HDR10+ with the Kodi Jellyfin plugin?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering purchasing a Vero V to use with my Samsung S95C TV and Q990C soundbar. My media library is managed through Jellyfin. I have a couple of specific requirements and wanted to double-check if the Vero V supports them.

  1. Does the Vero V, with the Jellyfin add-on for Kodi, support full Dolby Atmos with TrueHD passthrough, including the height channels?
  2. Is HDR10+ also supported in this setup?

Yes - shouldn’t be a problem, as long as Jellyfin isn’t doing anything like transcoding to a lower quality. You should be able to configure this.

HDR10+ is also supported.

@lmt464 I have the same soundbar; Dolby TrueHD with Dolby Atmos works perfect.

Just make sure that the first thing you do is enable it in Settings > System > Audio, check “Allow passthrough” and then check every box below that e.g. TrueHD capable receiver, DTS-HD capable receiver etc.
