It seems I’ve stumbled upon a bug. If I switch from playing Dolby Vision media to another format, whether HDR or SDR, it doesn’t matter, without stopping the currently playing Dolby Vision media, two problems occur. Most of the time, the new DV playback starts in HDR instead of Dolby Vision. Of course, when I recorded it, it worked correctly the first time. However, if you switch from Dolby Vision to HDR or SDR, the image becomes completely wrong. The only way to fix it is to resume the Dolby Vision media and then stop it. Thankfully when I did that the DV media started in HDR so I managed to film it.
Everything is fine so far if I stop the playback first.
We’re aware of this problem.
It needs some thought.
