Upgraded to the May release recently and noticed an issue with playback of a DV FEL remux that I have not seen before.
During the opening credits, when the logo and text fade in and out from black, there is often a secondary “flash” of previous frames repeated on screen. It is obvious on both fade-in and fade-out transitions, but is most noticeable when the studio logo initially fades out. My guess is some kind of sync issue with the FEL layer?
The file in question is from the Transformers (2007) UHD Blu-ray, created with MakeMKV 1.18.3.
Forcing playback on the Vero to HDR-only works fine; the problem only occurs in DV mode. I have not noticed this behaviour with any other FEL titles so far.
I have created a quick sample file from which I can reproduce the issue consistently.
Worth noting that playback of the original 4k Disc on an Oppo 203 in DV mode does not show this issue.
