DVB T2 configuration / vero 4k/

Hello All

I wanted to use my dvb t2 dongle on my old vero 4k. Tv Headend is installed and work with an m3 u file normally.

I wanted to use the dongle to receive the local dvb t2 stream in switzerland.

At the moment I am unable to configure any channels. To my understanding it is like i am unable to use dvb t2 channels

I have these adapters

tv headend adapters

It seems that I have some signal

I am sure that miss something but I am working on it since two days. so If you guys have any clue to help. i will really appreciate.

Hi,

Have you seen this guide:

Regards Tom.

Make sure you select the Sony adapter as the main device as that is the demodulator capable of receiving DVB-T2

Can you also confirm you are on the latest version of OSMC?

Sam

Thank you for that. I I did not find it directly searching in the wiki. Maybe add it to the Main menu of the wiki as you are selling the dongle.

I am going to repeat these information and tell you if I have more success.

thanks

Yes I am using the latest version and I use the second sony adapter in the capture of screen above, the one written DVB -T#1

and thanks again for all the work you are doing, I am a proud user of one vero 4k , one vero 4k+ and one VERO V and I really enjoy them…

Which log file you want to see if I want to be sure the second adapter is working ?

the DVB t2

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

There is only one usable DVB-T2 tuner (it is not a dual tuner).

thank you for our help

Have you set your region and initiated a scan? I’m not sure where you are stuck

Yes, I tried twice to scan the mux under the Switzerland name.

Maybe I can try to scan the default mux ?

You can just scan everything in case the Swiss one is outdated.

I need to use the default mux ?

Yes, you can try this,

I think I have some problem to have a good signal. I will come back here when I will solve that on my side.

Thanks anyway

OK, let us know if we can help.
