DVB-T2/DVB-C TV question

Hi all.

I’m toying with the idea of buying the above but I have zero experience of using this type of device and there are no details on the product page.

  1. Does it require an aerial or a satellite connection, or both?
  2. What does T2 and C mean?

You need either aerial (DVB-T/DVB-T2) or cable (DVB-C). It’s not a DVB-S (Satellite) tuner.

I believe you’re from the UK. DVB-T/T2 is basically terrestrial / Freeview.

Thanks Sam. I don’t have cable (I have Virgin but not the TV package) and my aerial is the wrong side of the room. Shame it doesn’t support satellite, I have the cables there and that’s deffo free.
