after the latest update still the same problem
I think we need logs to proceed
Just checking - if you are defining channel groups in NextPVR, presumably you have enabled Synchronise channel groups with backend?
i have tried with that both on and off still no change
My bad. Genres is different from Groups.
When you display info for a channel does it display correct genre info. E.g genre:news or does it say genre:unknown
can you see in the image its displaying the genre for the channel news/current affairs
There’s something very odd here. Can you post the output of
ls -lR /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.estuary/media
please? And confirn you are using the default theme?
yeah all the theme settings are default so are the fanart pack’s
thr this: osmc@osmc:~$ ls -lR /usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.estuary/media/usr/share/kodi/a - Pastebin.com
Thanks. Can’t see anything vital missing there, but I’ll do a diff against mine.
any other ideas?
I have tested your setup and got the same results as you. Discussed with @sam_nazarko who advised waiting for 17.3 upgrade. I’m away atm so can’t test it again but have you upgraded to the May release?
I also tried to test LE but I couldn’t get it to talk to the Win10 server.
still the same with 17.3 tested last night, LE works as expected
The only thing I can think of is that LE have a downstream patch / have backported something from 18.x to fix this issue or are using an older or newer commit hash for the add-on that works as expected.
I’ll check with them.
i tried the osmc test builds of kodi 18 and still no dice
