If you want it to fsck automatically on boot you would need to add a manual mount for the external drive in fstab - then you could have 1 1 as the last options to enable fsck scan on boot.
Why do you want it to autoreapair? If it get’s corrupted regularly first find out why!

I have this in fstab,
defaults,nofail 0 1" >> /etc/fstab
so it should be change to this right ?
defaults,nofail 1 1" >> /etc/fstab
