I might be the only one who benefits from this i’m not sure.
I use the “suspend” feature to also shutdown my amps/tvs when they’re left on by accident. It works beautifully, unless the V4K is left paused. Would be super useful for me to have maybe a checkbox added in the power options to allow the V4K to suspend even if its paused?
Why not stop the video? Kodi should remember where you got to.

We believe this is a Kodi issue or a specific Kodi function and as such you should look at addressing the issue there. If you do believe that this is an OSMC specific issue, please let us know.

The “suspend” feature i refer to was added to the V4Ks functionality specifically sometime after its initial launch, so i assumed this was part of OSMC, or at least could be.
We could definitely change this functionality; but I’m not sure if this change belongs in OSMC. We use Kodi’s standard suspend functionality; but added our own implementation of how that suspend is actually achieved.
