If I have all my movies in their own folders with own nfo art posters etc…
Is there any possible way to move my drive from windows kodi to my pi without having to rescrape the library…
Like many others the pi takes a long time to do this even if using local data .
I am aware that using a share or sql db is a great way to go because I can name it universally and make things easy but I take my drive with me to my friends house frequently and they have no internet to do so or scrape the data and while the pi is updating the library it’s way to slow to do much else…
I’d like to know if I can scrape the data on my windows pc using a media manager so I can have everything in it’s own local folder then scan it into my windows kodi and transfer the data directly to my pi so it doesn’t have to scrape anything at all it just shows up properly that way when I update with new movies I can rescrape with windows (fast) and not have to do anything to the pi (slower)
Not sure if I can just use a path redirect or something along that line … is this even possible …
Please give me some feedback
