Check this to check the SD Card
If that won’t fix problems it is still not 100% sure your card is healthy or the installation is healthy,
Having a different SD Card and doing a clean install on it will give also hints if all works or not (worked for me in the past, all worked nicely again, problem was the SD even fsck couldn’t solve).
Original power adapter on the Pi B I replaced once, got faulty.
Original power adapter on the Pi 2 I replaced once (at least you get a rainbow rectangle on the tv to tell you you have power issues with a Pi2)
p.s. faulty power adapter can also cause corruption including pulling the power on a hang
And you try to “roll back”, which could indicate also a power issue, I read somewhere on the forum with one of the latest updates demands some more power.
