Fresh install stuck on Pi's 2 splash (rainbow) screen

Hope you can help me with this one. After following all the steps provided for the installation of OSMC, it simply won’t boot. The “act” led flashes twice and everything’s stuck on the splash screen. I’ve tried official windows installer and Win32DiskImager for the img file. Each time I format my SD card using SDFormatter, with FAT32 and format size adjustment “on”. I also tried formatting it in windows itself, with the same result. It’s worth mentioning, that I have no issues with running raspbian, NOOBS or OpenELEC on the same hardware.

Which Image have you chosen?

After identifying my Pi, which is Pi 1 Rev B BTW, I’ve realized that I’ve been downloading wrong image as for whatever reason I was convinced that the Pi I have is Pi 2. Just downloaded correct image and it works like a charm. Sorry about that and thank you.

Don’t worry, you are not the first to make this mistake and you certainly won’t be the last.
