I have a RPi3+ running KODI. I would really like to be able to install an FTP Client (like Filezilla for windows) and be able to download files that way. If there’s any way I can do that please let me know.

You can set up an SFTP source with the SFTP plugin, then use the file browser I suppose. Never tried it.
