regarding the support of C2 in the kernel, I did not see it in the official Linux repository; indeed, I took the code from the CrazyCat fork, which is ahead in terms of general driver support.
The contribution that you reported only handles the T230C, that is missing in the current osmc kernel version but is present in the mainline one.
All this just to say, that even if osmc updates to the mainline kernel, the C2 won’t be supported
