I changed my network setup and Google Wifi is now my principal router.
Connected a switch to its Lan port with Vero 4K+, Apple TV etc.
Only with the Vero 4K+ the performance is extremely slow.
It list the folders in a share without delays but it can take up to 5 min before a movie starts.
No ideay what is going on.
With out logs we would even have less an idea than yourself. Suggest to first upload logs and you might want to check network bandwidth throughput with iperf3

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:
enable debug logging at settings->system->logging
reboot the OSMC device twice(!)
reproduce the issue
upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A
publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

. I also updated to the most recent DSM and something was not correct with my permissions settings.
