Green Screen on HEVC

I switched the Vero 4k+ on after a lunch break and the TV switched over to an unused HDMI port. This seemed odd but is the least of my problems.

Now any HEVC file I have plays with sound but a completely green screen. 4K files flash the occasional picture. I’m using a 1080p screen through an amp but tried directly to another screen via a different cable - still the same. Non HEVC files seem ok. Any ideas?

Additional: I tried switching off H/W acceleration which gives a picture but it’s very jumpy.

Additional additional: Although I had tried a few reboots, shutdowns and removed power, a long switch off seems to have fixed it. Maybe it had overheated?

Power it down at the mains for some time. CEC is probably stuck
