Gui to set up MySQL connection

Yes, I know you can use advancedsettings.xml and do all this manually, but would it be so hard to create a small GUI that asks to set up this connection for you and then creates the advancedsettings.xml and saves it to the proper place?

All it has to do is ask for IP address, username and password, and it will alway slook for the currently supported version of the database right??

I have never understood why this ISN’T a built in feature in the first place.

It’s a feature that is being considered an may be seen in the near future for OSMC.

This feature is already included in My OSMC -> Network

Perfect as I was looking to setup my new Pi today with MySQL for the 1st time, this will help greatly.
