Cause im running problems running h265 on my pi2 i thought about switching to pi3. Can i Just put in my sd Card from my pi2 to the pi3 or did i habe to install a new System?
Yes.
Currently the Pi3 will handle 720p HEVC content well (provided it’s not 10-bit)
Some improvements have been made for 1080p content, but not all of it will play well on a Pi 3.
The Vero 2 can play back 1080p HEVC with hardware acceleration
