Having issues after updating pi3b

Just jumped from nov-21 to current patch. Had issues with the official Kodi repo allowing addon installs, they just wouldn’t install. Tried reinstalling the repo via an addon zip I found browsing a Kodi mirror site but it was for a gotham release and it did install but the repo was missing, and also has now removed the original official repo.

Any help would be immensely appreciated, I do not want to do a wipe as I have this device running a Hyperion install that I haven’t played with in years and don’t wish to mess up as I don’t have time to relearn/fix it. I can install from other repos but now have no way to update official add-ons. If I can do a reinstall of the Kodi system on top of the current install it may fix the missing data so if there’s a way to do this if anyone knows, again help is great appreciated in this moment

To get a better understanding of the problem you are experiencing we need more information from you. The best way to get this information is for you to upload logs that demonstrate your problem. You can learn more about how to submit a useful support request here.

Depending on the used skin you have to set the settings-level to standard or higher, in summary:

  • enable debug logging at settings->system->logging

  • reboot the OSMC device twice(!)

  • reproduce the issue

  • upload the log set (all configs and logs!) either using the Log Uploader method within the My OSMC menu in the GUI or the ssh method invoking command grab-logs -A

  • publish the provided URL from the log set upload, here

Thanks for your understanding. We hope that we can help you get up and running again shortly.

I would love to do this however I cannot reproduce the issue as the repo is no longer showing so I cannot attempt to install any addon from said repo to generate the error.
