I have the problem that my Vero 4k no longer recognizes hard drives that do not have a separate power supply. is the problem known? Thank you very much for your help . LG Holyman
Likely the issue is that the power supply on the Vero has gotten a bit on the weak side to the point where it cannot sustain the load it once did. This is a thing that is known to happen sometimes. You might be able to replace the PSU and it would work again but really the better way would be to just use a powered USB 3 hub as they are designed to provide more current than what the USB 2 spec allows for.
