HDMI cable recommendations

Got a Vero4k+ and Vero V amongst a LG OLED GX and earc soundbar setup.
Got a few other devices including a Fire stick and Switch to connect.
Going for a hidden wire setup and want some decent HDMI cables that be good enough for the next couple of Veros including maybe 8k if it ever happens. Use earc so need HD audio support as well
Doesn’t have to be very expensive just Amazon purchased or used to have a set of Twisted Veins cables I liked, old so before earc times
Time to invest for now and the future as once hidden there for good.
What are you guys having good success with?

Don’t know where you are but you just need a hdmi premium certified cable - you don’t need to spend big bucks. In the Uk - something like this

Cheers yep in UK.

I think I had some Kenable ethernet cables and bought a few things from them quite a few years ago.

They are 4k not 8k and not sure of HDCP levels. Do I future protect as much as possible with HDCP2.3 HDMI2.1 as well.

HDMI only carries digitally encoded signals so the cable only needs to meet specs to give maximum quality. One can argue over cable quality affecting signal integrity with analog signal transmission, but with a digitally encoded signal, for the most part, it either works or it doesn’t. A $15 cable can produce the exact same picture as one costing crazy money. Normally the only time one would need to step to something costly is when they needed a particularly long cable for something like running into an AV closet or run to a projector.

Cheap, cheerful and doesn’t mess around.

I’ve really liked these from Cablematters:

They also have a 2 pack and single pack of these available. You can buy them direct from Cablematters (unless they are out of stock) or Amazon.

Sorry, just noticed you’re in the UK. You might check your Amazon UK store to see if you can get these without having to ship them across the ocean. Otherwise the one Sam linked from OSMC I’ve used before. I got the Cablematters one when I was trying to get some colored tags so I could easily see what is plugged in where.
