Hello!
I always use my Vero4K+ with HDMI-CEC.
Since today, without apparent reason HDMI-CEC didn’t work, and the following message appeared:
Connecting to Pulse eight CEC adapter
Couldn’t initialise the CEC adapter. Please check your settings
I checked the setting and HDMI-CEC was correctly enabled. I also tried different hdmi cable, with no luck.
Can you please guys help me?
Here are the logs https://paste.osmc.tv/qopasuyuye.xml
Try to unplug the Vero and the TV for several minutes from the main power
I prevously had a try by unplugging for 5 minutes my vero4k, and it didn’t solved the issue.
Few minutes ago I unplugged both my vero4k and my tv for 5 minutes, and when I plugged them on HDMI-CEC started working again.
Does that mean that my TV’s HDMI-CEC had a bug?
Well it just means that something in your CEC communication between your Vero and TV became stuck. Such a hard reset might be needed from time to time
Hi @fzinken.
Today the same issue is happening. I unplugged both my TV and my OSMC Vero 4k but this time it’s not solving.
Any suggestions?
Was this after a recent update or change in your environment (new TV, new device connected to TV, clean of room and reattaching of cables) etc?
I did no updates or environment changes. Same TV. No cables have been reattached in the last few days. I also plugged the vero4k to every hdmi cable in the room, to be sure it’s not an issue related to a wrong hdmi cable.
Are there any other devices connected?
Can you try a new log?
