Should i use hdr processing setting auto or force Passthrough? I have a good hdr capabele tv . Thanks
It should be the same if your TV is HDR.
Isnt Passthrough better , because the tv is handling it then?
Shouldn’t be. In auto mode, we pass through HDR if the display is HDR so it’s just the same.
“Auto” means “Send HDR to the television if the television says it can understand HDR”. “Force passthrough” means “Send HDR to the television even if the television says it doesn’t understand HDR”. If the television says it’s HDR-compatible then (as Graham says) OSMC will send the same signal in both cases.
