Help - Blank screen after OSMC Splash Screen

Hi all, new here and looking for some help please.

Recently got an OSMC pre-installed card from the store and all was working with my RPi 3.

Added sources, customised the menu to match the layout I was after, watched a few movies, and then ran into problems for seemingly no reason.

On booting, I see the OSMC splash screen, followed a blank screen. Nothing else happens.

I have tried rebooting etc via the command line, but have made no progress. I am very much a beginner to all things Pi and OSMC, so any help would be appreciated.

Could be an incompatible add-on or skin?
Can you try mv ~/.kodi ~/.kodi-backup and see if that helps.

Thanks for the quick response - given that a try, but has not helped unfortunately.

I was using the default skin, and had only made edits to the layout via the GUI, nothing fancy.

Your install looks corrupted there.

Can you try sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install --reinstall rbp2-mediacenter-osmc, then reboot.

This solutions looks outdated but one question, if I reinstall the media center by this command will I need to re install all my addons?

Logs should show what your issue is.
