is the hotfix in my osmc update page needed?
ive done a search on forums but cant find much info. it looks like its for all users but not 100% sure, doesnt have any details.

The hotfix does nothing except run a script that is provided by OSMC devs for some specific pupose. You must have a code provided by a dev to apply a hotfix.
